Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC for export at $570/mt, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, the same price as last week, a local market source told SteelOrbis,

In May, Brazil exported a monthly record in recent years of 486,900 mt of HRC, reflecting chiefly exports of 373,900 mt by ArcelorMittal Tubarao to Vietnam, at a declared average FOB price of $488/mt, with different quality grades and price deals probably closed in March.

Preliminary indications by the country’s customs authorities point to a reduction in June from the volume of HRC exported by Brazil in May.
