HRC export price range stable in Brazil

Brazilian producers remain negotiating HRC for export to South American countries in a price range of $590/mt to $600/mt, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, the same range over the last four weeks, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

For destinations other than South America, the reference price remains at $560/mt, under the same conditions.

In October, Brazil exported 99,000 mt of HRC at $623/mt, FOB conditions, against 37,400 mt in September. CSN exported 57,400 mt at $619/mt, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported 39,800 mt at $616/mt, and Usiminas exported 1,800 mt at $948/mt, all FOB conditions. Portugal was the main destination (56,400 mt), while 42,600 mt was shipped to South American countries.
