Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC for export to South American countries in a price range of $580/mt to $590/mt, against a range of $590/mt to $600/mt last week, both FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, a local exporter told SteelOrbis. For destinations other than South America the reference remains at $560/mt FOB, the source said.

In October, CSN exported 57,400 mt of HRC at $619/mt, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported 39,800 mt at $616/mt, and Usiminas exported 1,800 mt at $948/mt, all FOB conditions with price deals probably closed in August.
