Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC for export in a range of $530/mt to $550/mt, FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades to destinations other than the US, stable over two weeks, a local market source told SteelOrbis.

August, Brazil exported 27,000 mt of HRC, against 46,900 mt in July.

With the exception of 700 mt shipped to Belgium and 50 mt shipped to Mexico, the rest of the volume of August was shipped to South American countries.

ArcelorMittal exported 21,300 mt at $509/mt, while Usiminas exported 5,700 mt at $763/mt, both FOB conditions, with different quality grades and price deals probably closed in June.
