Brazilian producers are negotiating HRC for export to South American countries in price range of $530/mt to $560/mt, against $520/mt to $550/mt last week, both FOB conditions for the basic commercial grades, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

Preliminary numbers from the country’s customs authorities point to a sharp decline in February from the 86,400 mt of HRC exported from Brazil in January.
