SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices for HRC in the local Jordanian market are at $760-780/mt ex-warehouse, whereas prices for CRC in the same market stand at around $810/mt ex-warehouse. These HRC and CRC prices do not include the 16 percent VAT and are for 90-day deferred payment.
As prices in Jordan's domestic flats market are on a downtrend due to the slowdown in demand, importers still prefer to bide their time.
