All prices, which are inclusive of 16 percent VAT, are on FOT basis. Demand in the local Jordanian market is not as high as expected; however, it is higher than in late 2007. Currently, offers from the CIS have so far not been accepted in the market. Buyers in Jordan are currently waiting for the arrival of previously-booked ex-CIS materials before the expected increases are seen in ex-CIS prices. After waiting for a certain time, buyers may resume purchases in line with local demand. Currently, buyers in Jordan are mostly interested in hot rolled products.
