SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that Egyptian producer EZDK (Al-Ezz Dekheila Steel Co.) has announced to customers that its October production hot rolled coil (HRC) offers are unchanged as compared to the company’s HRC prices for September output and so are still standing at EGP 4,300/mt ($622/mt) ex-works. Market players state that, although demand in Egypt has shown some improvement since last month, it is still weak.
