Market sources indicate that Egyptian steelmaker
EZDK has kept its December production hot rolled coil (
HRC) offers unchanged as compared to its prices for November rolling, with offers remaining at EGP 4,300/mt ($624/mt) ex-works. Meanwhile, another local mill Kandil Steel has increased its cold rolled coil (
CRC) and hot dip
galvanized coil (HDG) export offers by $20/mt as compared to three weeks ago and the mill's offers are now standing at $720/mt FOB and $770/mt FOB, respectively. Market insiders state that demand for Egyptian flat steel products in the export markets is at good levels.
