Turkish integrated steel producer Erdemir has announced an update in base prices for some flat products in its new price list issued on April 1. Accordingly, the producer has increased its HRC prices by $110/mt, raised its CRC prices by $100/mt, galvanized prices by $90/mt and plate prices by $50/mt; meanwhile, the producer's tin coil/sheet prices have remained unchanged.
Erdemir's last price list was issued on March 8. Before the publication of its new list, Erdemir was selling HRC at the price level of $610/mt, HDG at $730/mt, CRC at $700/mt, plate at $700/mt, tin coil at $1,150/mt and tin sheet at $1,190/mt, all on ex-works basis.
The new base prices effective for local sales as of April 1, 2010 are as follows:
