During the given week, although most market participants were bullish on the prospects for steel plate prices in the short term, slack demand from downstream users has negatively affected the steel plate market. Over the past two weeks, many downstream users of steel plate have concluded their planned purchases against the backdrop of the rising price trend and now are mostly maintaining a wait-and-see stance. It is thought that steel plate prices in the Chinese domestic market will likely move sideways in the coming week.
