Demand in the local Turkish hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil market is still at low levels. Meanwhile, Turkish coated coil producers have reduced their domestic prices due to the decreases seen in global flat steel quotations and also due to the weakness of demand. Market sources state that buyers are in no rush to conclude new HDG purchases despite the reduction recorded in prices and are still monitoring the market.
