Demand still weak in local Turkish CRC market

Over the past week, demand in the local Turkish cold rolled coil (CRC) market has remained slack, while Turkish producers have maintained their CRC prices unchanged week on week at $690-710/mt ex-works. Market sources state that buyers continue to postpone their bookings and prefer to monitor the global market. In the short term, demand for domestic CRC in Turkey is not expected to recover due to the summer season and the approaching Feast of Sacrifice holiday.

In the spot market, prices of domestic CRC sold by local traders have remained stable week on week.
