During the past week, domestic flat steel prices in the local European flat steel market have moved sideways, while demand in the market has remained strong. Market sources state that domestic flat steel prices in the region are expected to move up in the coming days against the backdrop of the limited import steel sources in the region due to the current antidumping margins as well as the slight increase recorded in import flat steel quotations as compared to domestic prices.

Domestic hot rolled coil (HRC) prices in Europe are currently at €550-580/mt ($677-713/mt) ex-works, while domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) quotations in the region are now at €630-660/mt ($775-812/mt) ex-works. Additionally, domestic hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil prices in Europe are at €640-690/mt ($787-849/mt) ex-works.
