During the week ending February 12, the Chinese domestic cold rolled coil (CRC) market has generally been characterized by a slight downtrend. Average CRC prices in the local Chinese market can be viewed in the SteelOrbis price reports section.

Transaction activity in the local Chinese CRC market has remained poor. Different views are observed among traders regarding the future prospects of the market. Many traders have decreased their prices by a slight margin due to sluggish demand and rising inventory after the holiday, while others have maintained a wait-and-see stance and kept their prices stable. A few traders have even sought to raise their prices. It is thought that Chinese domestic CRC prices may continue their slight downward movement in the coming week due to poor demand.
