CSC hikes domestic sales prices for Q2

Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has hiked its local prices for the second quarter of 2007. The price increases are at the following levels:

Hot rolled coil/sheet      +600/mt (approx.$18/mt) 
Cold rolled coil/sheet     +550/mt (approx.$16/mt)
Galvanized iron            +300/mt (approx.$9/mt)
Electrical steel           +700/mt (approx.$21/mt)
HDG sheets                 +260/mt (approx.$7/mt) 
Wire rod and bar           +640/mt (approx.$19/mt)
