Taiwanese steel maker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has made an announcement regarding its price policy in the local market to be applied for the first quarter of 2005:For hot rolled plate : increase by NTD 800/mt ($24/mt) to NTD 18'831/mt ($584/mt) For wire rod/r-bar : increase by NTD 560/mt ($17/mt) to NTD 18'307/mt ($568/mt) For hot rolled coil : increase by NTD 840/mt ($26/mt) to NTD 20'383/mt ($633/mt) For cold rolled coil : increase by NTD 840/mt ($26/mt) to NTD 23'007/mt ($714/mt) For electro galvanized : increase by NTD 800/mt ($24/mt) to NTD 24'975/mt ($775/mt) For galvanized iron :increase by NTD 1'300/mt ($40/mt) to NTD 21'030/mt ($653/mt) For silicon steel :increase by NTD 1'500/mt ($46/mt) to NTD 24'778/mt ($769/mt)
