Taiwanese steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced its local flats prices for the first quarter of 2008. The prices are at the following levels:

The first quarter prices are on average 5.42 percent higher than the fourth quarter prices. The prices of all products have increased, except for cold rolled base galvanized iron, whose price remains unchanged as compared to the fourth quarter.
