CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated in average at $680/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, according to sources.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL 6,100/mt ($1,070/mt) against BRL 6,180/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, full taxes except IPI.
According to the foreign trade authority SECEX, in February Brazil exported 16,200 mt of CRC at $898/mt and imported 34,300 mt at $616/mt against respectively 2,800 mt at $827/mt and 31,100 mt at $600/mt in January.
