CRC imports in Brazil are negotiated at in average price of $715/mt, CFR conditions, stable from two weeks ago, market insiders told SteelOrbis this week.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is offered in medium to large volumes by producers at BRL 6,100/mt ($1,160/mt), also stable in BRL from two weeks earlier, ex-works, full taxes except the Brazilian tax on industrial products – IPI.
In January, Brazil exported 4,000 mt of CRC, at an average price of $948/mt, and imported 28,000 mt at an average $526/mt, both FOB conditions, insiders said.
