During the week ending February 28, average Chinese flat steel product export offer prices have remained stable, apart from hot rolled plate and shipbuilding plate export offer prices which have edged up slightly. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $520-540/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $555-575/mt FOB.

It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
