Chinese flat export offer prices mostly edge down

During the week ending June 13, average export offer prices of flat resources from China have mostly moved on a decreasing trend, though moving on a stable trend for hot rolled plate and shipbuilding plate. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $495-515/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $535-555/mt FOB. 

It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move sideways in the coming week.
