During the week ending May 23, average export offer prices of flat resources from China have moved on diverse trends, with hot rolled coil prices seeing slight decreases, while hot dip galvanized and pre-painted galvanized iron have risen, though other product prices have remained stable. At present, export offers for boron-added 5.75 mm hot rolled coil (HRC) given by Chinese suppliers are at $515-535/mt FOB, while export offers for 1.0 mm cold rolled coil (CRC) given by Chinese suppliers are in the range of $550-570/mt FOB.
It is expected that flat steel product export prices from China will move on a stable trend in the coming week.
