Chinese domestic CRC prices move up slightly

During the week ending September 25, average cold rolled coil (CRC) prices in the Chinese domestic market have edged up slightly, with transaction activity in the overall market being at low-to-medium levels. Average cold rolled product prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.

 13 percent VAT is included in all prices and all prices are ex-warehouse.

During the given week, sentiments have been boosted in the Chinese domestic steel market as production restriction measures have been implemented ahead of the National Day holiday (October 1-7). Meanwhile, some downstream users have been more willing to conclude purchases for CRC in order to build up some stocks.
