During the week ending June 26, average CRC prices in the Chinese domestic market have moved up, while transaction activity in the overall market has been at low-to-medium levels. Average cold rolled product prices in the local Chinese market are presented in the following table.
During the given week, production restrictions in Tangshan have bolstered finished steel prices, including CRC prices. Meanwhile, ferrous metal futures prices in China have moved up, also exerting a positive impact on the CRC market. However, demand has not shown any improvement. It is expected that CRC prices in the Chinese domestic market will fluctuate within a limited range in the coming week.
