Brazilian producers are exporting HRC of the basic commercial grades at $550/mt, FOB conditions, now for the fifth consecutive week, a local exporter told SteelOrbis.

With price deals probably closed in early September, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported in October HRC at $526/mt, Gerdau Acominas at $496/mt and Usiminas at $761/mt, all FOB conditions.

Preliminary indications by the country’s customs authorities point to an increase in November from the 125,800 mt of HRC exported from Brazil in October.
