Brazilian HRC export prices trend stable

The base price for Brazilian HRC exports of the basic commercial grades is currently $420/mt, FOB conditions, the same price over the last four weeks, a major exporter told SteelOrbis.
 
The price of the product has reached a peak of $500/mt last May, gradually declining to $420/mt in July and oscillating between $420/mt and $430/mt since then, all FOB conditions.
 
In July, ArcelorMittal Tubarao exported HRC at $364/mt, Usiminas at $416/mt and Gerdau Acominas at $399/mt, all FOB conditions, with price deals probably closed in May.
