ATI Allegheny Ludlum Specialty
Plate has announced that it will increase net transaction prices for tool steel grades, which include Econ-O-Miser™ (Milled and Ground) and Hot-Rolled Annealed (HRA) products effective for shipments as of October 2, 2006.
Accordingly, net transaction prices will increase by approximately 5 to 7 percent for the following tool steel grades: A2, D2, S7 and H13.
The company stated in explanation that the price increases are necessary to offset rising costs and also to support continued capital
investments and growth.
