Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Zhangdian Iron and Steel Co. (Zhangdian Steel) has commissioned its new high-speed
wire rod project which has an annual output capacity of 1.2 million mt, according to
China's state-owned enterprise
China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), whose subsidiary
China First Metallurgical Group Corporation was in charge of construction work for the project.
Zhangdian Steel had launched construction of the project on June 26, 2010.
