Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Zhangdian Iron and Steel Co. (Zhangdian Steel) has announced that it has recently achieved a daily high-speed wire rod output of 3,280 mt.
In Febuary this year, Zhangdian Steel's daily production of high-speed wire rod reached a record of 3,000 mt, while the daily output had risen further to 3,137 mt by April 10.
As previously reported by SteelOrbis, in November last year Zhangdian Steel commissioned its new high-speed wire rod project with an annual output capacity of 1.2 million mt.
