Yili Steel sees 28.8% rise in sales revenue in H1

Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Co. has announced that in the first half of this year its Xinjiang-based subsidiary Yili Iron and Steel Co. achieved a sales revenue of RMB 730 million ($118 million), up 28.8 percent year on year.

In the given period, Yili Steel's pig iron and crude steel outputs were equivalent to 52.8 percent and 50.8 percent of the respective production targets for the current year.
