On September 1, Jiangxi Province-based Xinyu Steel announced its ex-factory price for medium plate. The details are as follows:
The prices of medium plate have decreased by RMB 400/mt ($59/mt), while the heavy plate down by RMB 100-500/mt ($15-73/mt). After the adjustment, now in Nanchang Q235 14-20 mm medium plate is RMB 6,260/mt ($917/mt).
The above prices include taxes (17 percent VAT) and are effective as of September 1.
