Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Wuyang Iron and Steel Corporation (Wuyang Steel) has announced its successful development of production of 12Cr2Mo1R steel plates of 162 mm thickness used in hydrogenation reactors of petroleum refineries, with single plates weighing up to 38 mt.
Wuyang Steel has been specializing in the development of steel plate products since 1979. To date, the producer has developed more than 240 varieties of steel plates.
