China's Hubei province based major steelmaker Wuhan Steel announced ex-factory prices for June today, on April 26.
The price details of hot and cold rolled products are as follows:
On the hot rolled side, the carbon structural steel (excluding SPHC, SS400 and S235JR), high quality carbon steel, low alloy steel, and automobile steel prices increased RMB 100/mt ($12), high-intense welded structural steel prices increased RMB 700/mt ($87). After the adjustment, the ex-factory price for 2.75 mm Q235 becomes RMB 3,860/mt ($482), and that of 5.5 mm Q235 becomes RMB 3,610/mt ($451).
On the cold rolled side, common carbon prices remained unchanged, and ex-factory prices of 1.0 mm Q195 cold rolled sheet retained RMB 4,550/mt ($568), and that of 1.0 mm Q195 cold rolled coil retained RMB 4,500/mt ($562). The price of SC1 increased RMB 350/mt ($44), that of SPCE and DC04 increased RMB 250/mt ($31) and Z275 price is up RMB 200/mt ($25). 03A1 price increased RMB 200/mt ($25), that of SC2, DC05 and WIF increased RMB 150/mt ($19), while that of SC3 and DC06 also increased RMB 200/mt ($25). The price of WIF340, WIF340-CY, WBH340, LT (GT295) WP340, WP370 and W260P is up RMB 350/mt ($44).
Taxes are excluded from the above given prices, and they are effective for June contracts.
