WISCO Echeng Steel wins tender to supply steel plate for CRCC

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker WISCO Echeng Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (WISCO Echeng Steel), a subsidiary of Wuhan Iron and Steel Group (WISCO), has announced that it has won a tender to supply 25,000 mt of bridge steel plate for a new bridge to be built by China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC) at Egongyan in Chongqing city, marking the first time Echeng Steel will directly supply steel plate for CRCC, as announced by WISCO. The bridge steel plate in question has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good atmospheric corrosion resistance and good impact resistance. The first batch consisting of 7,000 mt of steel plate will be delivered by the end of November.
