WISCO begins trial run on ZR-5

SteelOrbis Shanghai On August 11, ZR-5 rolling machine of Wuhan Iron and Steel Company's (WISCO) No.2 silicon steel factory entered the trial production phase. The rolling machine was designed by French DMS company and its' electric control system was provided by ALSTOM company. The technology of ZR-5 is very advanced worldwide. It has the capacity to produce 200.000 metric tons of oriented silicon steel per annum.
