Weirton Steel workers reach an agreement with ISG

According to recent news in the market, Independent Steelworkers Union, representing workers of bankrupt Weirton Steel has approved a five-year labor contract with International Steel Group (ISG). As previously reported by SteelOrbis, Weirton Steel accepted the offer of $255 million by ISG for its assets. However it is stated that the other investors may submit their counter-bids by April 6, 2004.
