Voestalpine posts 2003-04 financial results

Austrian steel producer Voestalpine has recently posted 2003-04 fiscal year financial results. According to the report, sales of the company increased to €4.65 billion from €4.39 billion recorded in 2002-03 fiscal. Net profit of the company is recorded as €133.3 million, up by 70.9% from previous fiscal net profit. EBITDA of the company increased by 6.4% to €549.3 million from €516.1 million recorded in the previous fiscal. EBT (Earnings before taxes) of Voestalpine is recorded as €206.1 million, indicating an increase of 68.9% from €122 million recorded in the previous fiscal. Net financial debt decreased to €635.1 million from €830.6 million.
