The company said it officially resumed operations on October 17, after fixing operational issues.

After repairing the furnace of the pellet plant as well as cleaning the fans, which are used in its processes, Sidor resumed operations by producing 5,412 mt of the product.

The company said it improved the refrigeration, the pressure control and the efficiency of its BG-3008 furnace. Other repaired equipment include the process fans BG-5015, BG-5006 and BH-1017.
