Valin Steel’s net profit down 59.99 percent in 2024

Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Co. (Hunan Valin Steel) has issued its financial report for the year of 2024, stating that it registered an operating revenue of RMB 144.112 billion ($20 billion) in the given year, down 12.07 percent year on year, while it posted a net profit of RMB 2.032 billion ($0.28 billion), down 59.99 percent year on year.
