Vale-Anyang iron ore JV to start production in March

Brazil-based iron ore giant Vale said that it continues to implement iron ore production projects in China, some of which has already started production.

Vale indicated that a 1.2 million mt iron ore project set up by Henan-based Chinese steelmaker Anyang Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. (Anyang) will start production at the end of March. Anyang and Vale have 75 and 25 percent stakes in the project, respectively, Vale said.
