USTR publishes second batch of exclusion requests filed

Further to the first batch of exclusion requests including 150 items on product basis, the US Trade Representative Office (USTR) has announced the second batch, covering a total of 160 requests, filed in December 2002 as a result of the anniversary round of safeguard measures Remaining requests are to be made public over the following weeks Objections to the released requests under this second batch are to be completed latest by January 29, 2003. The list includes carbon and alloy fittings, coated steel, cold rolled flat products and hot rolled flat products as well as bar, plate, rebar, tin mill products and slabs.
