US issues final CVD review results on HRC from S. Korea

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final results of its administrative review of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain hot rolled steel flat products from South Korea for the period between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020.

The final subsidy rates are at 0.32 percent for Hyundai Steel and 0.33 percent for POSCO, both de minimis, in line with the preliminary results.

The countervailing duties for the country are applicable from May 9.
