According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of hot rolled coils totaled 55,702 mt in November last year, down 34.2 percent from October and down 5.1 percent from November last year. By value, HRC exports totaled $54.2 million in November, compared to $68.2 million in the previous month and $58.9 million the same month of 2023.
The US shipped the most HRC to Mexico in November with 34,428 mt, compared to 51,334 mt in October and 41,478 mt in November 2023. The other top destination was Canada, with 20,964 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US HRC exports in November.
