The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced its final circumvention rulings on light walled rectangular pipes and tubes made with substrate from China and South Korea, completed in Vietnam and then exported to the US.
Completing its investigations, the DOC determined that imports of the given products completed in Vietnam using Chinese-origin hot rolled steel are circumventing the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on light walled rectangular pipes and tubes from China, while the products completed using South Korean hot rolled steel are circumventing the antidumping duty orders on the given product imports from South Korea.
