US DOC publishes preliminary results of AD review on pipes from Thailand
On March 11, 1986, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand. Upon the request of the petitioners, the DOC, on April 22, 2005, initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Thailand. The review covered the period March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005. The DOC preliminarily determined that US sales of subject merchandise have been made by Saha Thai Steel Pipe Company Ltd below normal value. Accordingly, the DOC preliminarily determined that weighted-average dumping margin existing for the period March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005 is 2.95 percent for the subject producer. Interested parties are invited to comment on these preliminary results.
