US DOC issues final AD results for ball bearings from certain countries

On September 1, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register the final results of its antidumping (AD) duty administrative review for certain ball bearings and parts from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the UK.

As a result of its administrative review covering May 1, 2008, through April 30, 2009, the DOC again determined that sales have been made below normal value by certain companies subject to these reviews, however, making certain changes in the margins of certain companies.

The DOC determined the following final dumping margins:

The DOC has also determined that Myonic GmbH, a firm covered by the administrative review of the order on ball bearings from Germany, is the successor-in-interest to the pre-acquisition Myonic GmbH.

The DOC also has announced the revocation of the duty order with respect to subject merchandise exported and/or sold by Barden/Schaeffler UK to the US as seen in the dumping margins in the table.
