According to preliminary census data from the US Department of Commerce, US imports of cold rolled coil totaled 54,744 mt in March this year, down 24.8 percent month on month and down 53.2 percent year on year. By value, CRC imports totaled $51.63 million in March this year, compared to $69.34 million in February and $133.43 million in March 2025.
The US imported the most CRC from Canada in March with 17,805 mt, compared to 14,707 mt in February and 35,869 mt in March 2025. Other top sources of imported CRC in March include South Korea with 8,008 mt, Vietnam with 4,858 mt, Mexico with 4,343 mt, and the Netherlands with 4,210 mt.
