US auto sales register negligible change in November

US auto sales totaled 1,393,971 units in November 2017, a decrease of 0.01 percent compared to October sales and an increase of 1.3 percent compared to November 2016. Year-to-date, US auto sales totaled 15,852,341 units for the first 11 months of 2017, reflecting a 0.2 percent increase compared to the same period of 2016.

The top selling brands in November were General Motors, with 245,387 units; Ford Motor Co., with 210,771 units; Toyota Motor Sales USA, with 191,617 units; Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, with 154,919 units; and American Honda, with 133,166 units.
