The Russian steel producer Ural Steel, a member of Metalloinvest Holding, has developed a new grade of steel which it has named as ’UralSB-1'. In ’UralSB-1' grade steel production the alloying of steel is reduced by expensive elements such as molybdenum and vanadium. This procedure allows a reduction in the prime costs of steel production while at the same time maintaining steel quality.
